Your trees will be planted during recognized planting seasons in Central Scotland, helping you give something back to your local area. Not only will your trees help offset carbon emissions but they will help improve the appearance of the landscape for people to enjoy for years to come. In fact, without your donation, these trees would not otherwise be planted.

The trees planted will be a mix of fast growing conifers and native broadleaf species, planted by Central Scotland Forest Trust. The most suitable trees will be chosen in accordance with the aims of the project and the site conditions.

The trees planted will be supported by a maintenance programme over the next five years to ensure that they are successfully established.

An independent auditor will review the trees planted after year one of planting. After five years, a Chartered Forester will review the planting once more.

This may include thinning of the forest at some point to ensure that the carbon reserve of the site is maximised, in accordance with the recognised forestry practices.
